START Fareham is the first of the blueprint innovation centre designs by START Architecture and opened for business in 2003.
It has been designed to provide a modern, distinctive and spacious environment for a variety of businesses. Essentially square in plan, the simple 2 storey building is based around a central double height atrium flooded with natural light which forms the hub of all networking activity including the reception, a café area and management offices.
Units range from 200-1000 sq ft providing a total of 22,000 sq ft of accommodation. The ground floor provides versatile studio/workshop spaces with polished concrete floors, exposed soffits and painted blockwork. The first floor has a higher specification with elegant air conditioned offices with raised floor and suspended ceiling.
